
Watching back the Premiership games this weekend, I thought this was an interesting moment in the Exeter-Sale game as Exeter formed what has become a point of contention for many fans – the Caterpillar Ruck – to box-kick out of their 22.
In this short video, I look at what is deemed a bind at the ruck, and why referee Karl Dickson made the call that he did.
