Just wanted to share a new video that I’ve made on ‘+1 lineouts’ that looks at why they have become so popular in rugby today.
As some may have noticed, terms such as a ‘6+1 lineout’ have crept into modern rugby commentary and become more commonplace over the last decade.
While ‘+1 lineouts’ are most certainly not a new trend in modern rugby, this video looks to in part explain what exactly the ‘+1 means’, the variety of try-scoring options they offer attacking teams and why their use is so widespread at the top level.
Any feedback or comments are welcome and I hope you enjoy the video.
